The ride is an opportunity to spend the whole day riding through some of the most picturesque parts of the
Hawkesbury district. Although the route includes some main roads and challenging climbs it is well within the
capacity of regular riders on geared bikes. Riders will need to be self-sufficient and prepared for up to six
hours in the saddle plus rest stops. There is no “sag wagon” to offer support. The ride is not suitable for
children.

The route is Wiseman's Ferry via Catai Rd, Wiseman's Ferry Rd, Old Northern Rd and Laughtondale Gully Rd; then, after lunch, River Road to Lower Portland Ferry, past Dargle's Farm and back over Sackville Ferry to Windsor.

There is no ride fee. Riders enjoy stops for morning tea and lunch with a cuppa & cake at the finish. Non riders can join us for lunch at Wisemans Ferry if they wish. The ride can be reduced by starting or finishing at Wisemans ferry if desired however those riders need to make their own transport arrangements. Distance 104-110km [depending on time].
