Ride M7 and exit Sugarloaf Ridge (approx. 17 km). A short break to check out the lookout. Toilet and water bubbler nearby. Ride past the Prospect Reservoir area on cycleway and through to Pemulwuy shops for morning tea about 11 at Granata’s. Tables outside. [Another 10 or 11 km]. Toilets there. Then ride back through Reservoir area and down Chandos Rd onto the M7 cycleway. Chandos Rd is the only section of road with no shoulder. Fortunately there is not much traffic on a Sunday and is only a 2 km stretch. From there back to Glendenning about 23 km. An easy/medium ride except for a short steep climb up to Sugarloaf ridge and a couple of reasonably long steady climbs in between.
